Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Date Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 4 soft Medjool dates, halved, pits removed
  • 2 tablespoons salted natural peanut butter (no added oil or sugar)
  • 8 slices banana (about 1/2 medium banana)
  • 8 dashes ground cinnamon
  • 1.1 ounce melted high-quality dark chocolate (I use 70%)

Method
 

  1. Place a piece of parchment paper on a medium-sized plate (make sure the plate will fit in your freezer).
  2. Spread the 8 date halves out on the plate, gently smooshing down to flatten if necessary.
  3. Top each date half with 1/4 tablespoon peanut butter, followed by one banana slice.
  4. Top each banana slice with a dash of cinnamon.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over each peanut butter banana date bite.
  6. Freeze for an hour, or until just firm. Store in the freezer.
