Strawberry Shredded Wheat Porridge with Maple Peanut Butter Drizzle

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups crumbled shredded wheat (I used 2 Barbara's Shredded Wheat biscuits)
  • 3/4 cup nondairy vanilla yogurt (I used Kite Hill Vanilla Protein Yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup original oat milk (I used Oatly)
  • 2 dashes ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup small dice fresh strawberries
Maple Peanut Drizzle
  • 2 tablespoons creamy salted natural peanut butter (no added oil or sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup, or to taste
Toppings
  • Sliced fresh strawberries
  • Toasted chopped walnuts
  • Hemp hearts

Method
 

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the crumbled shredded wheat (crumble gently with your hands—leaving some small pieces intact), yogurt, milk, and cinnamon.
  2. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes, then fold in the strawberries.
  3. Mix together the peanut butter and maple syrup, then drizzle on top of your shredded wheat mixture.
  4. Top with sliced strawberries, walnuts, and hemp hearts.
