Blueberry Nectarine Crisp Breakfast Shake

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened, unflavored oat milk (I used coconut oat milk... which I guess isn't "unflavored" after all)
  • 1 cup frozen nectarine slices
  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup refrigerated banana slices (about 1/2 large banana)
  • 1 tablespoon salted natural almond butter (no added oil or sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 5 dashes ground cinnamon
Toppings
  • Roughly chopped toasted pecans
  • Granola

Method
 

  1. Soak the oats in the milk until softened, or overnight (refrigerated).
  2. Blend everything until smooth. Add more milk if necessary—the soaked oats provided enough "liquid" for me.
  3. Top with toasted pecans and granola.
