Green Vegan Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened unflavored oat milk (I use Silk)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced refrigerated very ripe banana (1 medium-large banana)
  • 1/4 cup mashed refrigerated avocado
  • 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter (no added oil or sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons pure pea protein powder (I use Trader Joe's Organic Pea Protein Powder)
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (I use Bob's Red Mill)
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • 3 dashes ground cinnamon
  • Hemp hearts, for topping

Method
 

  1. Blend the spinach and oat milk until well combined.
  2. Add the other ingredients (besides the hemp), then blend until smooth.
  3. Top with hemp hearts.
