That’s exactly what this funky green smoothie reminds me of!

At a glance it’s a little off-putting, dare I say foul?

Borderline seasick crocodile??

But once you get to know it, deep down it’s sweet.

A tasty, healthy breakfast, quite pleasant to eat.

Okay so I might be teetering on the Mount Crumpit edge of dramatization, but this smoothie tastes nothing like you might think.

Yes it’s packed with fresh baby spinach, plus creamy cado, pure pea protein powder, flaxseed meal, and a spoonful of super-food spirulina.

But the sweet banana, frozen strawberries, dreamy oat milk, nutty almond butter, and ground cinnamon magically bring everything together.

A sprinkle of hemp hearts completes the feast!

Sorry to say, this one’s without roast beast.

P.S. If you don’t have avocado, flaxseed meal, spirulina, or hemp, no worries! This smoothie is flexible. If you have another neutral or vanilla flavored protein powder go with that, or toss a blob of peanut butter in there in lieu of the almond butter.

P.P.S. A sprinkle of granola on top would be a nice addition… just sayin.
