Recently, I’ve been seeing a lot of recipes for Chocolate Avocado Pudding.
And noticing all the recipe reviews saying how “amaaazzzing” this stuff is.
So, of course I had to try some myself since
A. I love dessert.
and
B. I love avocados.
plus
C. It’s healthy, or at least somewhat (it is still dessert, after all).
It turns out I do not, in fact, like avocados in my dessert.
The pudding tasted like chocolate… with avocados.
Actually, more like avocados with chocolate. Mehghg.
So thanks but no thanks, regular chocolate pudding is the way to go. (What a shocker.)
I’d rather use my avocados to whip up some killer guac. Make that killer spicy guac.
You know, let those jalapeno seeds get in on the action and add in some lime zest while you’re add it.
Because the juice is never enough.
Bright tomatoes, fresh cilantro, a wee bit of red onion, minced garlic and salt (the most important part) make this guac come together.
Grab your chips and dig in!
P.S. This stuff will turn any late night nacho party into a true fiesta.
P.P.S. Update: Garlic is no longer my friend, so I skip the garlic. But you do you.
