It’s cocktail hourrrr.
Which can really be any hour of your choosing (or hours plural), but I especially enjoy refreshing dranks when it’s sunny out and I’m contemplating wearing a cutesy sundress.
Wee.
I started adding frozen fruit to white wine to keep it chill, avoiding the ice cube dilution factor.
The extra fruity notes are always welcome too.
And hey you get a nice little snack when you’re done sucking down I mean sipping your adult bevy.
Top her off with a splash of zesty bubbly water for some extra fizz and flair—try not to chug five glasses of the stuff because yess it’s that good.
For this version I started by plopping a handful of frozen cubed nectarines into my glass (peaches work well too), then poured a generous amount of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc in there followed by lemon flavored sparkling water.
Mmmm mm!
P.S. Any subtly fruity, bright white will work here. Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are usually safe bets!
P.P.S. You can experiment with the ratio of ingredients and adjust accordingly. I like strong drinks but you can certainly go easy on the wine and add more bubbles.
