Avocados are a pretty versatile fruit, but we all know that.

Right?

Smash them onto thicc slices of toast, mash them with a squeeze of lime for some tasty dippage material, dice them up and top off your buddha bowl, add a few slices to tacos or that veg-heavy sandwich, orrr throw them into a smoothie!

Yes, you heard me.

Avocados are quite delicious blended into ultra creamy smoothies (and shakes).

I’m a big fan of cacao + avocado + frozen banana, although a tropical refreshingly fruity smoothie like this little number really hits the spot as well.

Just depends on your mood!

(Not that I’m ever in a non-chocolatey mood.)

All you have to do is whiz together silky coconutmilk yogurt, sweet mango puree, fresh baby spinach, chilled cado, zesty lemon juice, half of a juicy navel orange, a handful of sliced English cukes, frozen nectarine, ginger on ginger, plus hemp hearts for a hit of protein, and pink sea salt to really bring out all of those flavors!

Creamy dreamy.

Pair with a steaming mug of tea to help keep any and all brain freezes at bay.

Enjoy!

P.S. As always, the ingredient amounts don’t have to be exact. Taste, and adjust according to what you like. Can’t get your hands on frozen nectarine slices? Use frozen peaches instead. Have a lime but not a lemon? Put that bad boy to work. Not a fan of ginger? Leave it out! Although I highly recommend against that ha.

P.P.S. This b**** is banana-free, which is a rare occurrence for my smoothie/shake repertoire—I know not everyone is a fan of naners… so here you go!

P.P.P.S. Many thanks to a special somebody who gifted me many a perfect avocado recently… I’ve surely been getting my healthy fats in.
