Another colorful, flavor-packed smoothie coming right up!
I scored a bottle of orange pineapple carrot juice (with ginger and lemon) the other day thanks to a free juice coupon (can’t let that go to waste) and just haddd to whip up an easy smoothie version at home!
Because $6 juices add up and you know I enjoy recreating recipes.
Plus how simple is throwing your ingredients in a blender??
The first time around I added a little too many carrots and ginger, so I scaled back on those guys, doubled the lemon and added a couple splashes of water for a more juice-like consistency.
Vs spicy baby food, which was definitely the situation the first time I took a stab at this concoction.
These photos depict the spicy baby food version sooo just picture a slightly smoother (and more desirable) texture.
Ha.
All you have to do is blend juicy orange segments, roughly chopped carrots, frozen pineapple or mango bits, fresh lemon juice and zesty ginger!
Plus your agua of course.
Pour it up.
P.S. Make sure your oranges are extra juicy! None of that dried out sadness.
P.P.S. Feel free to add more ginger if you want a spicier beverage—I prefer a subtle ginger kick for this smoothie.
