I’m going to keep this one short and sweet.

Just like the recipe.

It may seem like I consume primarily smoothies and toast.

Which isn’t too far off from the truth, really.

I do branch out occasionally, but keep finding myself coming back to creamy, refreshing sippers and toasty whole grain carbs.

Speaking of tasty toasty carbs…

This guy in particular is smothered with creamy salted peanut butter (my favorite) plus a few dashes of ground cinnamon and a good handful of juicy diced plums.

Bam!

It’s as simple as that folks.

P.S. Almond butter would be nice too.

P.P.S. Plums or pluots will work well here. I was gifted a bag of cherry plums and had to put those suckers to use! (Just remember that pits are involved.)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice whole grain toast (I use Dave's Killer Bread, choose gluten-free if necessary)
  • 2 tablespoons salted peanut butter (no added oil or sugar)
  • 4 dashes ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup diced fresh plums, or enough to cover toast

Instructions
 

  • Spread the peanut butter evenly over the toast.
  • Top the toast with cinnamon.
  • Arrange the plums on top.
